AGV Fleet Management
Hijos de Rivera are committed to obtaining maximum value from best of technology solutions. Pallet transport at the bottling plant has been automated with an AGV system for many years. Recent growth has meant that maximum output and efficiency of all aspects of the plant, including the transport system, has needed to be tweaked and extended to maximum capacity. MAP, a long time supplier to Hijos, has been part of the process, providing simulation scenarios for evaluation of the optimal number of AGVs and strategies of fleet management, and migrating the fleet control system to the latest platforms (.NET 4.6).
